Clients still calling you? Try this

Here's why taking bookings via calls/texts is hurting your growth

Some clients will still be calling/texting you for a trim when you first start using a booking system

You might wanna just book them in then and there

The problem with this:

  1. Clients will learn to call/text you for a trim and they'll do it again next time
  2. You waste time organising it with them (this time and next)
  3. You miss out on a valuable customer review (we send an SMS to a client after their booking with a review link)
  4. They don't get SMS reminders about their booking so they are more likely to late cancel/no-show

Here's what you should do instead:

  1. When someone calls/texts you, just send them your booking link!
  2. They'll book in a time that works for them, get a reminder text and be able to leave a review afterwards
  3. It also means they will use the link next time and not bother you with another unnecessary call/text

We recommend a template message on your notes you can just copy/paste to clients. Feel free to steal this one:

Hey bro! You can check my schedule and book in using this link - [barbr booking link]
